We created a leaflet to welcome new families to our school as part of our induction process. We wanted to communicate key information in a simple, visual format in the hope that this would support all families including those who are new to English. This is designed to be a folded leaflet and additional information can be put inside. This could include our healthy lunch information, our school calendar, translated information and community information. The leaflet is shared during an induction meeting with new families. A translator may support during this meeting, if needed and possible, to enable effective communication.
